It is with this philosophy that Paul Bayarena, Tommy Hollahan and Lance Kotal have become a referral base lender/broker.  How does one become a referral based lender?  By taking care of their clients…  Now while great rates can be obtained from most banks and brokers now days including themselves; that is not what sets them apart.  It is the service they provide and the time they spend educating their clients that makes the most impact.  They believe that a client should have several options on how their loan is structured and know the advantages and disadvantages of all options.  Because they spend the extra time to educate and review several loan options their clients are able to make an informed decision of what best suits their needs.

What it means to the client

By educating a client they are now afforded the opportunity to make an informed decision on how their loan is structured.  This alone can save a potential home buyer thousands of dollars a year.  Imagine that… by not asking what seems to be a simple question of having one lien on a home purchase or having two liens could affect your house payment.   In many cases people believe that having one lien is a better option, but that may not be the case.  In fact over the past seven years that may have not been the case at all.  By having two liens a client would be given the option of paying off the second lien and thus dropping the monthly payment by the second lien loan payment.  That is not an option for someone with just one lien.  Also, it would allow a client to avoid the Mortgage Insurance Premium (MIP), which can make the total payment upwards of a $100 a more a month verses having two liens.  Now, while this is a simplistic example one would still have to ask themselves did my broker/banker ask me a variety of questions about my short term and long term goals, or was I just told a rate and closing cost.  If not then why, especially when there are so many options out there.  In the end what it means to the client is less stress, more knowledge and a potential savings in their monthly payment.
